We would like to announce the safe arrival of seven Lagerfeldt German Shepherd puppies, born yesterday afternoon. Day-Z started contracting around 6:30pm and by midnight four girls and three boys were happily suckling off Mum.
We are so proud of mumma Day-Z; her maternal instincts are amazing. She is so careful and considerate of her little babies. The labour was an emotional one for us, as it is our first ever litter. We definitely shed a tear or two as the first puppy let out a strong scream.
The road to this very moment has been a long one, with countless hours, effort, research and funds invested into every detail of us becoming Registered Breeders. We wouldn’t change a thing and we are so excited to watch these amazing puppies grow and prepare them for their forever homes.
In the coming days we will be reviewing our puppy application forms to find the best people who will love and care for these babies.
